Can HSV 2 Be Contracted Through Skin To Skin Contact?
Question: I have HSV type 2 which presents above my penis -- not on it. I rarely have an outbreak but I know the virus can be transmitted while showing no symptoms so I cover my pubic area during sex. Question 1: Can the virus be transmitted via sperm. Q2: Can I reduce the amount of Valtrex I take by using an herbal remedy?

HSV 2 virus is not present in semen. Mostly it will be transmitted through skin to skin or mucus membrane contact. There is no known herbal drugs can prevent the recurrence of HSV infection.
