Question : Good AM. I presently am on a methadone maintenance program, and have been for many years. The Dr. At the program feels that I should go up on the dosage because I will start taking Harvoni Feb 1, 2015. What are your feelings about that?

Brief Answer:
the changes are supposed to be SMALL

Detailed Answer:
Methadone changes are highly regulated. They should not change it upward even 15% at a time.

also,
"NS5B nucleos(t)ide analog inhibitors (i.e., sofosbuvir) and some HCV NS5A inhibitors (i.e., ledipasvir), which do not or only marginally affect CYP450, are relatively free of significant pharmacokinetic interactions. "
Expert Opin Drug Metab Toxicol. 2015 XXXXXXX 2:1-9. [Epub ahead of print]

there's nothing out there specific for this particular drug interaction... but you really would NOT expect a problem with it and you would NOT expect a need to increase the methadone.
