Question: Is it dangerous to take lorazepam if you have asthma.?

Asthma is no contraindication for lorazepam and canbbe safely given. If there is a respiratory failure or low respiratory reserve as can occur in a long standing asthma in old age, the dosage of lorazepam shouldbbe reduced accordingly. However if it is only a periodic asthma attack then there is no need to worry and lorazepam can be given
