Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

This is probably a viral illness. If there is no cough, wheezing or breathing difficulty, this is unlikely from asthma exacerbation. Just give him Paracetamol 3 times daily, adequate bed rest, enough fluids and a soft diet. He will be fine in 2-3 days. If no relief by then, we can evaluate further.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
