Brief Answer:
It can potentiate the effects of temazepam

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible.

Taking these two together at one or two occasions may increase sedation or dizziness or even increased effects of temazepam but using it for few days together or few hours apart even may increase symptoms like dry mouth, agitation, emotional lability and increased dizziness or vertigo.

Using them 4 hours apart may not have significant effect on decrease in side effects as these side effects are related to pharmacodynamics, that is with mechanism of action of drugs rather than related to pharmacokinetics which involve interactions at absorption or by taking two drugs along with eachother. So use only, if risks are over weighed by the benefits and is prescribed by a qualified neurologist or psychiatrist.

Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
Regards.
