How Do I Reduce Restoril Dependence?

How do I wean off restoril? I ve been taking 30 mg nightly for about 6 months. I didn t take it last night and had many withdrawal symptoms; which I lived through. Feel flu like today with diarrhea. Do I take it every other night and then every third night or do I cold turkey it? It says you could have seisures.

Hi,

Please no “cold turkey”, the results could be life threatening. You need to get a tapering-off plan from your GP. Normally it with take weeks to months. But then you’re safe.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
