Question : can I take unisom with zoloft
Brief Answer:
The two together may compound sleepiness.
Detailed Answer:
Unisom is the antihistamine doxylamine. Zoloft is sertraline. I ran a search to see about any interactions between the two.
What I found was that you can take them together - no absolute contraindications - BUT you may get side effects from the combination.
The combination can cause:
- increased dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating
- some impairment in thinking and judgment
Do not drink alcohol with this combination.
Also, you should probably not drive until you know how the combo will affect you.
I hope this information helps.
