Based on the history you have shared, regarding drugs and the gel that you are using which is from category of drugs called non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs and it can cause increased stomach acidity and alongwith blood thinners the tendency of gastric ulcer or or gastric mucosal inflammation is increased leading to increased susceptibility to gastric bleeding but it can be avoided by using antacids like omeperazole or pantoprazole alongwith it if used for a longer period of time.
