Brief Answer:
Don't worry, this looks like common cold

Detailed Answer:
Hi....I understand your concern. By what you quote this looks like a common cold. As you have experienced a ICU stay fr your baby, your apprehension is understandable.

Your kid's pediatrician seems to have an appropriate treatment.

To make you more comfortable, I will let you know the dangers signs. If These are not there you need not worry.

Danger signs of respiratory illness -

1. Fast breathing with respiratory rate more than 50 per minute.

2. Inability to feed.

3. Respiratory distress or difficulty in breathing.

4. Chest in drawing and nasal flaring.

5. High grade fever.

6. Decreased urine output.

7. Bluish discoloration of lips and finger tips.

If these are not there you need not worry. But even if anyone of these appear, you need to take your kid to nearest emergency room.
