Question : Can ferrous ascorbate and folic tablets be taken as an iron supplement by a non-pregnant woman for controlling hair fall?
Hello,
Thanks for the query,
Yes you can take these tablets.
Both iron as well as folic acid is not stored in body,
hence whatever is required is absorbed by the intestine and rest is excreted.
So there is no chance of toxicity.
Its better to take even biotin as it is must for hair growth.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you
