Can Herbs Berberine Be Taken While On Multaq?

Question : is there an interaction between multaq with the herbs berberine, gynostemma and quercetin in other words can I take theses herbs if I'm taking multiq

Hi my dear,

I understand your concern.

Multaq (dronedarone) is an anti-arrhythmic agent. I believe you are having atrial fibrillation since doctor prescribed multaq to you.
Usually, when having arrhythmia issues, patients are also prescribed an anti-clotting agent. If you are using any of them, then, gynostemma should not be used.

Berberine can be used in heart failure but have an undesirable side effect : increased heart beats, which is not good in your case.

Quercetin is found in many plants; it belongs to flavonoids group and so far no interaction has been shown between quercetin and multaq.
