Question : I have been adjusting my medications to comply with medicare pricing. I also have a new rx plan and trying to keep the costs in line with their program. I consulted with my Dr. and has submitted
the generic or equivalent to my high priced brand meds. So she sent the first order to the mail order drug supplier. I called them to find out if the prescriptions is tiered properly and found some
problems. Mainly I cant figure out if the generics are appropriate for the brands. I put the order on
hold and contacted my drs office and she will be on vacation for two weeks. No other dr in the office is allowed to change meds. My whole order will have to wait for my approval.Mainly I cant figure out if the generics are appropriate for the brands. Could you help me sort through this? I have 4 medicines that are in question.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam,
I have gone through all the brands that you have been prescribed , you can safely take the generic ones , the crestor and Diovan have different contents as compared to the generic you have been given but they belong to the same family of drugs so there is nothing to worry .
You can go ahead with these and yes they will be as effective as the brands.
