Can Small Minor Hit To Hip Lead To Hip Fracture?

Question: I got up this morning and I was half asleep and walked into the kitchen and I slightly bumped my hip against the kitchen counter. There is no pain and I can walk and move around. Could I have hurt my hip in any way? What would it take to injure your hip?

If you can walk without pain indicates that there is no major injury near hip.

For hip injury there should be major blow or trauma.
Major injury to hip leads to swelling, redness, pain and difficulty in hip movement.

You can over the counter analgesic which is available along with local gel application.

Hot fomentation will help to reduce internal injury.

Physiotherapy like ultrasound and TENS may help.
