Could Abuse Of Gabapentin By Overdosing On It Along With Seroquel Be Fatal?

Question: I have a Question on the Long and short term use of Gabapentin. I became addicted to it when I was away, and now the tolerance is very high. I 'VE been getting it from 2 doctors, now, and do it about every 10 days when I can get it. I need to take at least 30 600mg tablets at once now to feel these side effects. When I take it now, I need at least 50 of them in a period of 5 hours or so to continiue effects. What happens when I take it, I get severe diahrea, and need to drink alot of water after wards. I lose my bowels completly in my sleep at times, and get severe cramps in my right hand. I PASSED OUT ON the floor 3 times from this, cause I need 2-3 hundred milligams of serequel every night for sleep along with abot 12 beers.....I need on my second day and took total of 100 of them already out of the 120. I get severly depressed also when it wears off after about 2 days. Can this be fatal to ME. aLso mix with the beer and serquel.....?

Hello,

You have taken 180 gms of Gabapentin with 12 beers and 2-3 hundred mg of Seroquel. As you are abusing Gabapentin and have high tolerance to it, it is not a fatal dose for you but all these are sufficient to make your central nervous system depressed and cause neurological side effects including respiratory depression if you do this regularly.

You are already having over dosage toxicity symptoms like diarrhea, drowsiness, cramps and fall. As you are now lacking the drugs, there are high chances of severe withdrawal symptoms in form of anxiety, insomnia, nausea, pain, sweating and even seizure. It is better to go to the ER and disclose everything to get help. You need indoor management for de-addiction from Gabapentin.
