Question : I have a puffy face and eyelids , dizzy when I bend down only changes have been that 1. I have taken sugar out of my diet for past 6 weeks due to blocked sinus and thrush infection... I'm not on any medication , could these symptoms be due to detox ? Thank you for your time ... XXXXXXX

The symptoms you said facial Puffiness, swelling around eyelid (PERIORBITAL SWELLING) are quite common with impaired renal (kidney) functions which are quite common around your age group. 2. Dizziness and increased respiratory rate is quite common in metabolic acidosis (functional abnormality of kidney) which comes in impaired renal function. 3. I would like you to do a simple renal parameters like serum creatinine, serum urea, GFR (glomerular function test). 4. Follow up as per results. Take care.
