Question : I have been diagnosed with initial cervical spondylosis couple of weeks before.. the pain had receded just today and I see blood in my stool and urine. Could you help me with why is it like this?

                                    Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Passing of blood in stool and urine is not likely to be related to the problem of cervical spondylosis or its treatment.
The bleeding you had might be indicative of an infection or a local lesion like hemorrhoids. You need a physical examination and investigations like urine and stool analysis under the guidance of your physician to detect the cause.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Please accept my answer in case you do not have further queries.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
Dr. Praveen Tayal.

                                    Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Having beet and foods red in color can cause this harmless discoloration. In that case you have to wait for the color to return to normal in next 3-4 days.
Hope my answer is helpful.
