Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting the query
I have understood your problem, I'll try my best to help you.
Yes, with antibiotics you will definitely get better. To hasten the healing process you need to follow few measures as suggested below.
1. Drink frequent sips of warm water.
2. Do steam inhalation 2-3 times a day. Steam helps in reducing the congestion in the nose and the sinuses.
3. Use saline nasal spray as frequently as possible. Saline clears off the residual mucus discharge and keeps your nose and throat free from discharge.
4. Avoid chilled foods/beverages, coffee, smoking and fizzy drinks.
Hope this answers your query; revert back to me if you have any follow-up queries.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing back
I would suggest you to try with saline nasal spray initially. Saline does help in reducing the nasal secretions and promotes mucociliary clearance of the nasal mucosa and the sinuses. If you are not getting better with saline nasal spray, you can definitely switch over to flonase nasal spray.
Please follow the suggestions as I mentioned in my earlier response. Steam inhalation and saline nasal spray can help you in preventing recurrent episodes. Also, avoid those things which induces allergy or asthma
Hope this clarifies your doubts. Wish you good health.
