Question : I have AFIB & being treated with propafenone & atenolol.. have bronchitis symptoms started mucinex (extended release) twice a day, not DM but straight guaufanesin, & have been thrown into AFIB Not long after taking my last mucinex 12 hours ago & still in AFIB... could Mucinex be an issue..I have been taking Mucinex for 5 days & this is 2nd AFIB attack?

There is no interaction between Propafenone , atenolol and guaifenesin.
Atrial fibrillation may be precipitated from a respiratory infection in those prone to the same.
