Question : Hi, Dr I am a type 1diabetes patients and taking insulin thrice a day. My endocrinologist suggest me lantus and huminsulin R and I used to take lantus 20 units in the morning and R 10 in the morning, 8 units before lunch and 9 units before dinner. I use to take insulin from 2007. Now my question is I am married now and my gaynocologist suggest me to take harmoni f tablets to avoid pregnancy so can I take this medicine having type 1diabetes pls suggest.

Brief answer....there is no interaction between harmoni f with injectable insulin

HARMONI F is used for oral contraception and available data doesn't suggest any interaction between harmoni f and injectable insulin.
You can go ahead with this medication along with your injectable insulin.
