Does Inositol Cause Fatigue, Abdominal Bloating And Nausea?

Question: Lately i have been experiencing fatigue, bloating, gases, feeling cold and feeling nauseous right after having my meals.
I have pcos for many years but didn't have these symptoms till now. Been taking myo inositol for two months. Wondering if that could be the reason for what i m experiencing now.

The symptoms you have mentioned, can be due to inositol, but these are normally experienced with high dosages when used in more than 10 per day.

These are not absolute contraindications to its usage, and these side effects can be overcome with use of, motility agents like domperidone or mebeverine. The use of antacids like omeperazole can also be of symptomatic benefits.

Meanwhile, avoid using gastric irritants like fizzy drinks, spicy foods and greasy foods. Diets rich in fibre can be good alternative.
