Question: I am 29, and had missed abortion last year. Since January 2014 i was on regestron to induce periods as my prolactine levels were a bit high. I have gone through follicular study and had successful ovulation. Following are the details:
LMP= 24/06/2014 ; T Clomipure 50= From 3rd to 7th day of period; Cycle Day 8= follicular study started
On Day 15, I got an Hcg Injection 10000 1 n, for egg rupture. Egg ruptured on Day 16. Had intercourse on Day 15 and 16. Started Her-Nmp 200mg , virginal use for next 15 days.
Now after one month, 26/07/2014, i had visited doctor and had pregnancy test. I drank two glasses of water right before collecting the urine. She didn't know that. and I didn't tell her. (As i was unaware that it matters.). Urine pregnancy test came negative. She asked me to stop Her -Nmp tablets, and said period will come after 4-5 days. If it doesn't we will have another pregnancy test.
I testes again at home my friend told me that drinking water can affect the results. After two hours from the previous test , i again did the home pregnancy test. It came positive with a faint line. (It was much darker, still faint than it is appearing in the attached image)
My question is: Can it be false negative due to Her Nmp tablets. If it is positive should I continue with the tablets and start follic acid. How stopping Her Nmp Tablets and not starting follicacid tablets for next five days can affect the pregnancy?
