Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
People suffering from hypothyroidism have these symptoms of lethargy XXXXXXX tiredness, increase sleepiness.
Thyroxine doesn't cause these symptoms. I would also advise you to keep a regular watch on your TSH levels as your levels are towards normal only. This dose may cause reduction more then what is required.
Also I would advise you to get your Hemoglobin tested.
Also you should start with Vitamin D3 supplements.
If you have any further query please ask me.

My hemoglobin, Vitamin D3 levels are OK
However my nighttime sleep is poor (only 4-5hrs)
Is there any remedy for daytime drowsiness, as it causes me much distress and embarassment?

Dear Friend.
If you are not sleeping properly in night, automatically you will be tired and drowsy in the morning.
Then this is not because of hypothyroidism.
Only way for a fresh morning is good proper sleep in night.
If you have sleep issues you can ask your doctor for prescription of anti anxiety drugs for a short while.
You need to change your life style.
If you have any further query please ask me.
