                                            Question : Dear Doctor,
How are you? I was in touch with you with regards to my daughter's health condition. As I mentioned to you in my previous email, I stopped all her medication. She had improved and her doctor advised to stop them. It is now already close to 1 month. However, last weekend we went out to the beach. It was very windy and little bit dusty. Soon after I realized that she started coughing again and once again it is the same similar heavy and hard cough. She is especially coughing in her sleep.
I am giving her Tussimont to relieve her from the cough. However, please advice doctor if I should restart giving her Ventulin and Aerius for 1 week. This was the same prescription last time too.
Unfortunately, I am not getting an immediate appointment with her doctor. Your advice would be really helpful.
Thank you,
Abagtha (parent)

                                    Brief Answer:
Please restart last prescription for a week
Detailed Answer:
Hi....I suggest you use the same prescription for a week or till you get your appointment with your doctor.
Tussimont might not yelp in wheezy cough alone.

                                    Dear Doctor,
The last time the doctor checked her, which is at the end of her treatment, she informed me that the chest was completely clear. However, the little or slight noisy breathing was due to adenoids.
My confusion is that is heavy cough a symptom of adenoids or congested chest? Your inputs would help me.
Yes, I will start the prescription from this evening onwards.
Thank you,
Abagtha

                                    Brief Answer:
Cough is a symptom of congested chest
Detailed Answer:
Hi....thanks for the trust in me. Usually 95% of the times, heavy cough that too disturbing sleep is a sign of hyper reactive airways disease or wheeling.
Adenoids will cause snoring and mouth breathing, disturbed sleep and day time sleepiness.
