Question : I am on day three of a left sided focal seizure, how long can I let this go on.

Thanks for your query.

Having a focal seizure for three days continuously is already very distressing. I would like to know some more details on your problem to be specific in my opinion , like:

1) Is this for the first time that you are having such a seizure?
2) Are you taking any medicines for the same?
3) Have you been investigated to know the cause of such seizures?
4) How did you know what you are having are focal seizures?

Your answers will help me to suggest a better opinion with regards to your problem.

In my opinion,you should take the help of your family physician who after proper examination will give put you on medications to stop these seizures. Long term prophylactic treatment is often needed to prevent recurrences.
