I love eating a lots chocolates. Of course, I have gained a lot of weight and seriously thought to stay away from chocolates but it is almost impossible.
So, I decided to eat chocolate but a totally different kind of chocolate. I am attaching a photo of the chocolate I began to eat now and frequently. Can you please guide me if eating this Dark Unsweetened Black Cooking Chocolate directly has any health related issues?
Your help in this matter is very much appreciated.
Kind regards,
XXXX
You are eating baking chocolate
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for your query. I have seen the attached photo.
You are eating baking/cooking chocolate. As mentioned on the label, it is mostly cocoa. There are no sweetening agents and other agents in the chocolate. This food is low in cholesterol but is high in saturated fat and can raise LDL-cholesterol levels. Another issue is the bitter taste which may not be as likeable. Apart from this there is not much of an issue.
My sincere suggestion is to see this as a bad habbit. Bad habbit can be gotten rid of by staying away from it for a few days. Once you have gotten used to staying without it, you can increase the chocolate-free periods.
It is not hard to stay away from it.
