Does Intermittent Intake Of Siphene A Cause For Concern?

Question: My doctor suggested me to take Siphene 100mg after 2nd day of period for 5 days, but i missed taking it continuously for 5 days (I took on 2nd day and 4, 6, 8, 10th day) Is it any problem by this and when i may Ovulate
Brief Answer:
Might cause a problem
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Well, missing it by one day wont cause any major problems.
But you have taken it every alternate day, instead of daily,so it is possible that the action might not be optimum.
Ovulation is generally expected on day 14 of your menstrual cycle.
You have to start getting follicular monitoring ( scanning of uterus and ovaries ) done from day 9 onwards to track growth of egg follicle and to see that it ruptures.
All the best
Please feel free to discuss further.
