Question : hello dr.. my husband is suffering from high fever. he has taken paracetamol. but no improvement. he has hay fever also. please guide...

Tepid sponging and repeat the Paracetmol after 4 hours of previous dose

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I suggest to start tepid water sponging for your husband all over the body.
Repeat paracetmol if it is more than 4 hours of earlier dose. paracetmol dosing is 500mg every 4 hours.
You can give warm fluids and Cetrizine or Loratidine for the hay fever.
Steam inhalations work very well for hay fever.
