Numbness of fingertips is most often due to peripheral neuropathy- a disease of the nerves of hands and feet. Peripheral neuropathy has many causes such as diabetes mellitus, lack of vitamin B12 or D, renal insufficiency, etc.

You may take vitamin B12 supplements for improvement. If symptoms persist, please consult a neurologist.
