Question : I fell and hit my head in the tub tonight. I have a headache now and a tightening as well.

Thank you for posting your query.

First of all, I would like to reassure that your symptoms do not suggest any serious underlying brain injury.

It seems to be a mild head injury.

You can take ibuprofen or diclofenac for pain relief.

Please watch for the following warning symptoms:
Severe headache, repeated vomiting, double vision, decreased alertness, fits. If you develop any of these, you should go to ER and get a brain CT scan done.
