Question : Blood pressure 140/98. Having pain in back of neck and shoulders. Having to get up frequently at night to go to bathroom coughing especially ay night

Hi there, thanks for asking. high blood pressure, frequently going to bathroom at nights, and coughing at nights all suggest a breathing related sleep problem. It is common in menopausal women as well. You may tell me if you are obese and if your neck size is more than 15.7 inches (40 cm) since these are other risk factors. Also do you drool on your pillow, do you have headaches in the mornings and if you have gastric reflux at nights and if you have allergy. If you have some of these symptoms, you may go to Dallas and do a sleep study. Fortunately its management can help for your blood pressure control as well.
