Question : My 10 yr old son hit head hard on door and has pain on touchon top of head and bump in front from falling. How long should i watch for symptoms before taking him to ER ?

                                    Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
As of now, it appears to be a mild head injury with scalp hematoma (bleeding underneath the skin over skull bone). So there is no need to worry.
Please watch for severe headache, vomiting, drowsiness, fits, etc. If any of these occur you can take your child to ER, otherwise you can XXXXXXX the doctor in morning.
Best wishes,
