Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
I think I can help you.
Your query lacks a definite question.
I assume you want to know about the black eye.
However, I would like to see the eye first.
Is it possible for you to upload a picture?
And why are you taking Eliquis?
I would be very happy to help you find the best solution for your problem.
Best of luck.

It looks like I rec'd a punch in the eye. A bruise. dark in color, in my left eye. Kind of like a raccoon but not fully circular. I had a blood clot 2 years ago. My Dr. prescribed Eliquis for 6 months and I had no more blood clots. My Dr. said to take the Eliquis 2 days before and 2 days after a flight to thin my blood so a blood clot would not form. I took 2 Eliquis tabs yesterday and 1 this morning. I'm thinking if I discontinue the Eliquis it will go away. I'm leaving in a couple of hours on a flight. I would send a photo but I don't know how.

Brief Answer:
part suggestions

Detailed Answer:
Where was the blood clot? which part of the body?
you need to test a pt/inr. the value would judge whether you need to to stop the medicine.
I think you need not stop the medicine, because the active bleeding would have stopped.
besides, in view of the fact that you are taking the flight, it is better to take the tablet. avoiding the clot (and its possible complications) is more important than a black eye.
Let me know the reports.its usually quick test i you can find the lab that does the test in its own capacity.
If you want to send reports / pictures, you can upload them with the query. if there is a problem you can send them to YYYY@YYYY with Sub: ATTN 'Your Name'. Once my team receives the photos or diagnostic reports from you, my team will send reports / pictures to my registered email.
Best of luck, Dr Mittal
