How Can A Painful Bump In The Mouth Be Treated?

Question: Hi doctor, 3 days ago I found (it can be feeling by tongue and after it already by finger) little bump. About 3mm long and 2m raised. It's white little painful and hot and after touch little bleeding. Cartilagineous consistence I think. Shoul I be worry?

Hi..
Welcome back..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per the explanation and images attached it can either be an ulcer or can also be an inflamed minor salivary gland..
It can also be a Mucocele or a mucous retention cyst..

Nothing to worry, start doing warm saline gargle..
Apply numbing gel containing Lignocaine over the lump..
You can also do cool compresses over it..
Take a Vitamin B complex daily..

See for 3 days and then revert me back with the response and treatment..
