What Causes Opacified Maxillary Sinus With Mucocele And Mucosal Thickening In Ethmoid Cells?

Left macillary sinus is completely opacified with medial deviation of the wall with the appearance or a mucocele. This is extending all the way to the nasal septum with mild mucosal thickening is seen in the ethmoid air cells. There is Haller s type air cells on the right side elongating and narrowing the right ostiomeatal unit. There is some mild mucosal thickening within the right maxillary sinus. No air fluid level. Sphenoid sinus is congenitally tiny. How serious is this????

hi
i think this is the ct scan findings of the sinus ct scan which you have done.
in this scan you have some abnormalities seen in maxillary sinus which might be causing sinusitis and also there might be blockade in nose.
what i feel is if you can post the films of the ct scan a better understanding of the scan can be obtained.
but primafacie it is not very serious but might require some intervention.
regards
