Brief Answer:
Possible pancreatitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.

This type of pain is indicative of pancreatitis which usually is manifested with back and abdominal pain, may be associated with fever, nausea, and vomiting.

If only the pain is present then you can wait, take antiacid medications, spasmodics and have a liquid diet for few days. If there are any of these above-mentioned symptoms, fever or progressive pain then you should see a doctor and do lab tests to rule out intraabdominal inflammation.

Wish you good health.
