Question : Hello Doctor ! I'm a 25 year old female and about to get married next month... When I paid a visit to the gynaecologist last week, she advised me to take gardasil vaccine to get prevention from HPV. Without a second thought, I agreed and got the first dose on the same day.. I had sore throat and mild fatigue which vanished the next day...but ever since that, am having a sense of being unwell.. I did a Google search about the vaccine and was shocked to read articles that gave lot of negative information about the vaccine. I heard that it has caused death and even banned in some of the countries . Am not sure if it is true. I couldn't figure out if it is my psychological fear that keeps me unwell. Please advise what can be done. I'm having anxiety due to which my heart palpitations are more. Apart from that, am really stable.

Gardasil vaccine is safe and not dangerous as you have read on internet. There were few concerns in some countries but not proven.

Sore throat and fatigue you are experiencing is related to the temporary side effects of vaccine and nothing else.
