Question : My granddaughter has walking pneumonia, She is 7 and i want to care for her so her parents can go to work. I am retired and 74 years old. If I get a pneumonia shot today will it take immediate effect>? I also have not had the flu shot, Can I take both injections at the same time? I really want to take care of my family.

No you should not take both the shots togather.

No, you should not take both the shots togather.
Better too take flu shot first.
Then after 24 hours, get done pneumonia shot.
And don't take both vaccines at same site. Take them on different sites.
No, these vaccines can not give immediate effects.
It will take atleast 6-8 days to start it's protective effects.
