I am 37yrs of age and gave birth 6weeks ago, this was an emergency c-section and I was discharged after 2 days. I began experiencing shortness of breath,fever and had swollen legs. Was re-admitted to hospital where I was diagnosed with Pneumonia as well as a leaking valve in my heart. Was prescribed frusimide,ramipril and have continued to take them up until 2 weeks ago. I am still producing milkstopped breastfeeding 3-4weeks ago. So my question is can I resume with breastfeeding now after taking Ramipril? or will there be a problem due to the medication I have had?
