Question : I have c-diff. I had it for 6 days before I was hospitalized for another 6 days. I was given 2 antibiotics 1 was a tablet the other was a liquid. I've been home for 2 weeks on the same meds. I was getting better then 3 days after I finished the meds it is back. It was caused by earlier does of antibiotics or a visit to the emergency room. Do you think a refill of the meds will take care of it?

I suggest you get a refill. Apparently, the antibiotics didn’t take care of the germ disequilibrium completely. I suggest you get another refill for a similar duration as the return of the diarrhea is clear sign that the infection wasn’t completely addressed. The success while on these drugs at controlling the diarrhea is testament to the fact that it works good and should be continued.
