Yesterday I was diagonised with malaria. How long will it take to get cured?
How long should I take leave from office? What medications would you prefer?

Thank you for query.
Malaria takes 1-2 weeks and it depends on patient immunity and treatment.
You can take 2 weeks leave, Because post malarial infection most of the patients get dizziness,fatigue,arthritis on & off for 1 month.
Now a days chloroquine is preferred for malaria.

My company takes infections very seriously . How long will I remain infectious to others? One or two weeks?

Malaria doesn't any long term consequences.
