Question: My cousin has shingles. She got it about a month ago. Isxshe still contagious?

Herpes zoster is less infectious than varicella or chickenpox. Though both are caused by same virus.If the lesion has dried up then it is no longer contagious or infectious to other.So after month it is no longer contagious.

Was not even thinking of HIV. Was thinking of chicken pox. Would i have to be concered about HIV?
