                                    Brief Answer:
Yes, it is safe for you to resume your studies.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. It is safe for you to resume your studies.
2. The normal contagious period is 7 to 10 days at the most.
3. The recommended rest period is 24-48 hours after symptoms have subsided without the help from medication.
4. You should take all precautions as there is bound to be some weakness after this episode and since there is no confirmation whether it was swine flu or seasonal flu.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.
Regards.
