How Much Cadioprotect Should Be Taken Post Heart Surgery?
Question: Dear doctor, I have been taking cardiprotect 2.5 mg along with regular tablets after bye pass heart surgery. After sometimes the doctor who attend me forheart suggested to use 5 mg cardio protect tablet, but I felt too much cough. The doctor who is attending me for diabetes suggested to use only 2.5mg with mondeslor tablet for five days. The cough came under control. Shall I use the tablet 2.5 mgcadioprotect only.

Cardioprotect contains ACE inhibitor which is a wonderful drug for hear but yes causes problem of dry cough.
If you are having the problem of dry cough you can continue with 2.5 mg dose only.
Don't increase the dose otherwise you will get the cough problem aggravated.
