Question : How do I avoid a Colostomy bag after colon surgery?
Brief Answer:
Chemo radiation can help
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
It is not clear to me if colostomy bag is already in place or it is planned. It appears that surgery already done and as the tumor could not be removed, colostomy bag has been placed.
In that case, giving chemo and radiation together to the tumor, we can reduce it and hopefully make it operable. After that, the bag can be removed.
If you can describe your scenario in some more detail, I can guide you better.
Hope this helps.
