Hi,

Thanks for writing to us.

The sperm count may be decreased due to many reasons like
1. Aging process,
2. Wearing tight dresses that will increase testicular temperatures,
3. Obesity,
4. Frequent sex or masturbation,
5. Trauma to the testicle of any kind,
6. Drugs,
7. Addiction,
8. Excessive stress.

So my simple suggestions to you to increase sperm count will be-

1. Don’t wear tight clothing,
2. Bathe in cold water,
3. Reduce your weight if you are obese,
4. Go through meditation or psychiatric counselling to cut-off stress,
5. Avoid spicy food,
6. Consume fresh vegetables and fruits,
7. Drink at-least 3 litre of water per day,
8. Don’t go for too frequent sexual activities,
9. Stop smoking, alcohol intake or any other addictions,
10. Avoid slightest trauma to your testicles.

By the above mentioned ways you can increase your sperm count. Yet you have 60% non-motile sperms which is responsible for your infertility.

Don’t get panicked for that and avoid too much pondering over the fact that you need to have above 40 million sperms.

Both you and your wife need to be counselled by a psychiatrist and also visit infertility clinic for evaluation of your partner also.
Do discuss all these facts with your wife and keep faith on each other.

I think my advice will be of help to you.
