In my opinion, I can tell you that prostate surgery does not rule out sex at all. Prostate is not even a part of the reproduction system.

You will just need to take a short rest post surgery. Beyond that I don't see significant impairment to sexual life.

You may try sildenafil if there is no cardiac contraindication.
