Brief Answer:
try speculum

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic .

If the object which have got stuck is sharp then don't try to remove by speculum insertion. Show to emergency room and get colonoscopical removal.

If the object stuck is blunt edged then once you can try inserting speculum and removal with some forceps . Only if the object is visualised through speculum then try removal. Blindly don't try. You may push the object still higher up or cause injury.

And take antibiotics like ofloxacin for 5 days. Try once. If that doesn't come then go for colonic irrigation . 50 to 60% will come out like this. If still it doesn't come next plan will be colonoscopic removal under vision.

Hope I have answered your query . If any further queries are there I would love to help.

Brief Answer:
give it a try

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

All you can do now is give it a try, if it gets dislodged, then it might come out with your pooh.

But apply generour amouth of a anaesthetic gel in the anal opening and the speculum before inserting, an a long smooth stick or forceps ready that can pass through the speculum to dislodge it, ready beforehand. And a torch for light.

Colonic irrigation will usually not push it very high up unless it is very light in weight to get floated up. But still its unlikely to go beyond the sigmoid colon.

Best of luck.
