Hello XXXXXXX;
Thanks for your query.
Your child is 1 year old and is on lactulose that means he has constipation problem.
Due to less fiber in food;less amount of water intake the stools become harder.
Your baby may find it painful to pass the large or hard stools.
Now you have been told that your baby has lesions.
If these are around anal opening there are 2 common possibilities:-
-Cracks around the anus (with some times blood stain on stools),
-If the area is moist there can be yeast infection.
See if your boy has any of the mentioned condition.
If the lesion is external and it is possible for you please post a photograph of it on the site YYYY@YYYY with Sub: ATTN "Dr.Shainaz.Kaware"
to help you better.
Hope this information is of help to you.
I will be available for further queries.
Take care.
Regards
