Brief Answer:
4th generation test is highly reliable.Your symptoms not related to HIV.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
Oral sex carries a low risk for HIV.
4th generation HIV Combo test consists of two components in it. Antigen (P24) part of the test can detect the presence of HIV 1 infection as early as one week itself in the presence of an infection and becomes conclusive by 4 weeks. It is highly reliable test and you had your test by six weeks. So this negative test report clearly ruled out HIV 1 infection clearly.
Antibody part of the test can become conclusive by the completion of window period (12 weeks) and it can detect the antibodies against both HIV 1 and 2.
HIV 1 infection is common almost more than 99% throughout the world except in certain parts of XXXXXXX HIV 2 prevalence is less than 0.5%. So you need not worry about HIV 2 infection.
Dry mouth is not a specific symptom for HIV. It can occur to anybody in the absence of HIV. It can be either due to anxiety or ordinary sore throat that anybody can have. Your RNA HIV PCR test will also become nonreactive.
Good wishes.
