Brief Answer:
Only folic acid will do.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for your query.
I'm Dr. Shuba Hariprasad and will be answering your query today.

Both B-long F and Fol123 are both multi vitamin with other supplements.

The only vitamin needed while trying to get pregnant, is Folic acid. This should be ideally started 3 months before getting pregnant and continued throughout pregnancy.

There are folic acid only preparations (tab. Folvite 5 mg) to be taken once a day.
If you have a healthy diet and wholesome diet rich in green leafy vegetables, fruits, grains, cereals and lentil, this should be enough.
Anemia, if present, should be treated as soon as possible to have a healthy pregnancy.

If your periods are regular, this usually means you ovulate and is enough to give you a good chance of getting pregnant.
A previous PCOD would interfere with getting pregnant only if you were to have irregular cycles and ovulation.

Try to pinpoint your ovulation date by using the basal body temperature monitoring method. This will give you an idea of when you ovulate after monitoring for 1-2 months.
Try to have intercourse during the day of ovulation and for three days before to ensure maximum chances of getting pregnant.

If after regular Intercourse, pregnancy doesn't result in 1 year, I recommend that you see a fertility specialist. Give it a year though.
If your cycles become irregular, consult your OBGYN right away.

Hope this helps and I have answered your queries.

Hello Doctor,

Thanks for your reply..

Please clarify should I continue B long F everyday once?
Do I need to take Folvite 5 MG with this as well?

Brief Answer:
Take folvite 5mg alone.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for the follow up.
Either B long F OR FOLVITE.
No need for both. You may choose either one.

Folvite has only folic acid.
B-long F has other vitamins as well.

Folic acid is the vitamin that is prescribed routinely to prevent neural tube defects in pregnancy.
I recommend taking only FOLVITE 5mg once a day.

Please have a well balanced, nutritious diet.

Hope I've answered your query.
Wish you good health.

Hope you conceive soon and have a healthy pregnancy and confinement.

Regards,
Dr. Shuba Hariprasad
